Given the benefit of being a Chinese girl creating CHAOCHA in China, our founder Swan was able to curate a selection of exceptional pure leaf teas from some of the most authentic origins throughout this far east land.

 

Besides the meticulous and comprehensive tasting process, all of our teas have a great story of how their suppliers were chosen. We know each face behind those leaves, we see their day-to-day tea farm activities, as well as the smiling faces of their family enjoying tea together on WeChat Moment (Chinese social media) all the time.

We may not carry any organic certification, as our artisan partners simply can't afford them, As a young startup, we'd rather spend our limited resources on delivering our valuable concept & product to more individuals rather than hustling on a trademark or transferring the certification cost to our products’ price. Every tea we source comes from regions free from air pollution and heavy metals, and grow without the use of pesticides, herbicides, or synthetic fertilizers. The quality of our teas, our partners' dedication, and techniques far exceed organic industry standards.

 

Every leaf was brought up by nature, nourished with the essence of sunshine, rain, and dew on the mountains. They are all delicately hand-harvested, processed, picked, and eventually transformed to dry leaves in all kinds of shapes, ready to be smelled, sipped, and savored by you.
